ROYALboard is silicate board, made from a mixture of silica sand and cement, which is reinforced with cellulose fiber, and is further processed by the Autoclave drying technique, making it not cracked due to a heat-related shrinkage.

ROYALboard is suitable to be applied to various parts of your home, both exterior and interior. This is because of its good resistance to water moisture, fire, termites, and collisions damage.

There are two product category, namely RB board and RB planks. RB board (or RB Classic) can be applied as wall partitions and ceilings. RB Planks (RB Fascia, RB Cornice, RB Skirting, RB Sidding) are fine to be applied as a roof list plank, floor cornice, wall skirting, and wall facade.

RB Classic can be used as part of a cover for the house part You don;t want to see, such as cables or air pipes.

RB Planks can be used fo a wood material replacement and decorations. RB Fascia is good as a roof list plank, RB Skirting is good as a wall skirting, RB Cornice is good as a wall cornice, and RB Sidding is good for a wall facade. You can also design them as furniture parts, door and windows frames, or fence decorations.

RB Classic can be applied to a wood frame, hidden metal frame, or a visible metal frame. As a recommendation: You should use wood frames for the 3.5 mm and 4.5 mm thick ones, and use metal frames for the 6.0 mm or 8.0 mm thick ones.

ROYALboard can be applied to wooden frames or metal frames by taking into account the recommended installation criteria. For applications on the ceiling, you should use a 2-way frame (with a distance of no more than 610 mm)

RB Classic are very suitable for mounting on wooden frames. For applications on the ceiling you should use a 2-way frame (with a distance of no more than 610 mm).

For hidden metal frames installation, it is recommended to apply 400 mm distance per frames to get the best results. For good surface results, use suitable screws for metal frames application and scrape the screw points first. The recommended screw distance is 200 mm per screws along the board. Use the type of nail that has a thin and wide head shape. For RB Classic 6.0 mm thick and above, use a special fiber cement screw with a wide head and a high thread.

RB Classic is better to be stored in a closed room with a good air circulations. For an open room storage, cover the RB Classic with a water-resistant cover (or a plastic-made one).

Use the suitable cutter made for building material. First, scratch the boards surface a few times until You have scratch-line with the depth of 1/3 of the products thickness. Second, break the product parallel according to the scratch-line made before. Then, if you get a rough cut edges, use rough sandpaper to smoothen it.

Lift the products with 2 persons. Place one hand on the bottom of the board and another hand on the top of the board. RB Classic must be lifted in a stand-up position (look at the image below).

For the best results in normal conditions, apply 2 to 3 layers of water-based acrylic paint. For certain conditions, add underlayer painting or sealer as recommended by the factory. Exclusive for RB planks variants with the base colour gray, it can be directly painted with the preference colour. For the RB planks variants with the natural base colour, it must be painted with 2 layers of water-based acrylic paint first.
